Pobblebonk tadpoles can be found throughout the year. In summer, many are growing larger and starting to develop back and then front legs. Growling grass frog tadpoles do not finish their life cycle until the middle of autumn.
Tadpoles eat wetland plants and frogs catch smaller animals such as insects and worms.
