The Volcano Dreaming panorama is a digitally constructed photographic panorama that merges more than 3000 photographs of plants and animals, representing the key habitat types, that have evolved within the Western Volcanic Plains and the immense variety of flora and fauna within those habitats.
Panels 1-4 represents a Wetland/Grassland ecosystem.
Panels 5-8 represents a Grassland ecosystem.
Panels 9-12 represents a Wetland/Open Woodland ecosystem.
Each set of panels below has the plant and animal species identified and numbered. In addition, if you click on the species within the list, it will take you to further information available about that species on our Biodiversity Field Guide.
