Learning Intentions

In this activity students will:

  • Understand that living things live in different places where their basic needs are met.
  • Learn that organisms have a variety of external features that enable them to survive in their habitat.

Activities

Students will:

  • Examine three live native Australian animals and one native plant.
  • Investigate the distribution and habitat requirements of these organisms.
  • Identify the external features of these organisms that enable them to survive in their habitat.
