This week at Ecolinc

Term 2 has been an exceptionally busy one for Ecolinc.  So far this year, 6576 students from a range of government and private schools across the state have participated in an Ecolinc onsite or outreach program.  This week Surf Coast Secondary have undertaken the Year 10 DNA Detective program, Grade 3/4’s at Dinjerra Primary School have been investigating ‘What’s Growling in the Wetland’, Deer Park West Primary School have been actively involved in the ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ program, students at Montpellier Primary School have been exploring ‘Animal and Plant Survival’ and Year 12’s at Melton CRC have been detecting ‘Genetically Modified Organisms in Foods’ using PCR and gel electrophoresis techniques.
