Ecolinc Online Resources

With the recent advice from DET for students to learn from home, we wanted to remind you that the Ecolinc website has a number of resources that you may find useful. These have all been specifically designed to complement the Victorian Curriculum and VCE and are free to access. They include:
Ecolinc Learn Online – The Learn Online Learning Management System offers a range of online programs for students from Grade 3-VCE. These contain interactive activities, videos, games, quizzes etc. Students will need to register on the website https://learnonline.ecolinc.vic.edu.au to gain access. Some of the courses that may be helpful include:
- Fibonacci: Numbers in Nature (Maths in Nature - Years 3-6)
- Waste Warriors @ Work (Waste and recycling – Year 3-4)
- Facing the Furnace (Geological changes – Year 5 & 6)
- Kingdom Animalia (Classification of animals – Year 7 & 8)
- Cold Case: The Romanovs (Focus on DNA & Forensics – Years 9 & 10)
- Eco-Explorers (Grassland rare and threatened species – Year 9 & 10)
- Scientific Posters (VCE)
- VCE Environmental Science Exam Revision (Year 12)
STEMlinc - Ecolinc provides a range of video conferences that students can access from home. Teachers will need to register their class and our STEMlinc coordinator will send out simple instructions for students to connect in from home or school https://learnonline.ecolinc.vic.edu.au/stem-linc-events/ Some featured events include:
- Animal Life Cycles & Adaptations (Year 3-6)
- Under the Sea (Year F-6)
- Alaska Marine Life (Year 2-5)

Ecolinc will be working on a number of new courses whilst working remotely and will provide regular updates on Ecolinc Learn Online and STEMlinc throughout Term 2, so keep checking in to see what’s new.
