    Ecolinc VCE PD, Friday December 2nd 2016 is fully booked

    Outline of changes to the VCE Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science & Physics Unit 3 & 4 Study Designs for 2017 and the 7-12 programs Ecolinc will be offering in 2017. Cost $90.00 per participant.

    Ecolinc will be holding a Sustainability Expo on Sunday March 26th, 2017.  The Expo will be a family event focused on making sense of sustainability and will have a range of guest speakers, ‘hands on’ workshops, educational demonstrations, farmers market, arts & crafts, talk to the techsperts, and lots of fun activities for kids.  This promises to be a must see event, so put this on your calendar for next year.  Please see the attached flyer for further informatio

    Term 2 has been an exceptionally busy one for Ecolinc.  So far this year, 6576 students from a range of government and private schools across the state have participated in an Ecolinc onsite or outreach program.  This week Surf Coast Secondary have undertaken the Year 10 DNA Detective program, Grade 3/4’s at Dinjerra Primary School have been investigating ‘What’s Growling in the Wetland’, Deer Park West Primary School have been actively involved in the ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’ program, students at Montpel

    Bookings are open for the Emerging STEM for Women program on Wednesday 5th October.  The keynote speaker at this event will be Jade Hameister, the youngest person in history, at only 14 years of age, to ski to the North Pole.  Jade is also featured in the July issue of the Australian Women’s Weekly and is an inspirational young lady.

    Is your school or community organisation looking for plants to put in your garden or to revegetate an area?  Perhaps Ecolinc can help.  Currently our work experience students, under the guidance of our horticulture specialist, are seeding and propagating a range of native and indigenous plants that will be available in the spring.  Schools and community groups will be able to apply for an Ecoplant Box for their organisation in Term 3.

    Be apart of something exciting.  Conservation Warriors is coming to the Ecolinc website. This online program will enable you to immerse yourself in projects, quizzes, movies, competitions, fun facts and a whole lot more.  You can become a real life conservation warrior!  Launching in Term 4, 2016.  Stay tuned for more information.
